Tuffspot play

We are exploring a new platform to play upon. A plastics ‘tuffspot’, commonly used for mixing cement and the like but with awesome play potential.

First play invitation was a dinosaur land featuring all sorts of sensory play equipment and natural items. The children thoroughly enjoyed this first meeting with a new place to play.

Our second meeting with the Tuff spot was set up as a farm using our wooden farmyard and various grains, and cereals. All bran provided a very tactile area for the pigs to live in.

We have not yet experienced the joy of springtime weather so this play opportunity was ceased between rain showers.

My 4 and 2 year old enjoyed the experience of this small world, hands on play experience. Particularly feeling the rice fall through their fingers.

This is a play device we will visit in the warmer weather and with other play experiences.
